You will learn the process from conception to completion, covering all aspects of our Business and creating a fantastic career.
Your new career will be based within a very busy Transport Office on the front line, you will be calm, methodical, committed and have an excellent sense of humour, whilst you experience the ups and downs of transport and logistics.
We will develop your skills and knowledge in all areas:
- Vehicle Scheduling
- Dealing with Drivers
- Load Planning
- Route Optimisation
- Records Management
- Maintenance Scheduling
- Maintaining delivery schedules and tracking deliveries
- Updating customers on deliveries
- Monitor and report driver issues such as:
- Safety concerns
- Licensing issues
- Drivers hours
- Tacho infringements
- Analyse delivery costs and recommend more cost effective routes
- Customer KPI’s
- Customs processes
- Liaise with outside transportation companies
- Assign drivers routes
- Handle customer complaints
