We are set up to do all customs entries/ens/preboarding notifications.
To ensure we have enough trained resource in place, we have had to set a deadline of October 30th for our customers to commit to ourselves doing all entry data for them.
Currently we are not taking on customs clearance work from potential customers who do not use us for transport. There is a waiting list in place, the priority is being given to our existing customers up to October 30th.
Clearly we don’t know what actual paperwork will be required for Northern Ireland, so customers are not being asked to commit to specifics, just to using ourselves we will take risk on cost of training.
What we are finding is a good level of preparations for customs to Republic Of Ireland but quite often missed is ens IE the security protocol documentation.
On the Irish sea, it is the hauliers responsibility to ensure ens completed.
